Wood with encrusted sacrificial patina
A highly reduced Dogon figure with an almost architectural, ladder-like construction. The composition is built through a simple vertical rhythm, ending in a small head that gives the piece its quiet presence.
The surface retains remains of sacrificial material and handling, forming a dense encrusted patina consistent with ritual use.
Compact, direct, and structurally very strong.
H: 30 cm
